The Count Down is on!

Only a few more days till PARADISE!!! Kyle and I keep reminding each other that we can survive work and finals a few more days because we will be able to relax, and enjoy a week of pure heaven! (hopefully the weather is nice)!!

We will be thinking about you all while were laying out on the beach here....

My little Artist

So I'll just put it out there...Kyle is a sleep walking king!! As finals are approaching quickly the nights have become quite the comedy show in this household. For example last night, it happened not once but TWICE! Here is how the story went...

2:30 am

I wake up to Kyle sitting up and shaking his arms....

Ash: "Kyle what are you doing? Is everything alright?"

Ky: "Ah, yes! Just checking our clock to make sure it has enough jell stuff in it to make sure we can tell the time properly."

Ash: " Hahahahaha! Just keep shaking it, im sure that will help! FYI YOU ARE ASLEEP! GO BACK TO BED!!!"

Ky: "o.k."

Sets the clock back and lays back down as if nothing has happened.

This is what our clock looks like....normal and in no need to be shook to keep it working!!

3:45 am

Kyle abruptly jumps out of bed....

Ash: "Kyle, what are you doing? Where are you going?

Ky: "Just going to the bathroom..."

Ash: "Uhm...your going to go in the toilette, right?

Ky: "No Ash, on your pillow!"

Wow...who knew you could have such thick sarcassum while your asleep!!!

Needless to say its been a very eventful last few nights, with much anticipation of more comedy acts...

The "Beep, Beep, Beep" is our handy dandy dehumidifier going off in the middle of the night.

Now you may wonder what is the significance of this picture...Well, my one and only did not wake up to the obnoxiously loud beeping sound, but to my well-known scuffing that I do when I walk...oops!

Ohh Kyle!! I love you! Never a dull moment, and lots of memories!

The Big Boy Turns 23!!

First of all....a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KYLE! His Birthday was on Feb.25th....(you know what that means? Yup, you guessed. Only 1 month till my own Birthday! :)

I figured it was just males in general who are difficult to buy gifts for...guess not! As I was talking to other wives and young married couples I quickly found out ITS JUST KYLE! Needless to say I had a hard time figuring out what to get him, and what to do for the big day. In the end it turned out great! Had a few of his friends from down here meet up for a surprise dinner at McMinemins. It all made for a very fun night and great food.

Here is the cake I made (thanks to Katie for the recipe off her blog!) It is delicious!!!

The next few things are activities that Kyle and I love to participate and stay active in...We have been keeping very busy and loving every minute of cheering each other on!

I have joined a city league volleyball team our team name is "Six-Pack" and we are seriously dominating! I'll just put it out there...Finals HERE WE COME!

Kyle has joined a pretty intense football team called the Corvallis Bulldogs. They practice twice a week at a local high school with a nice turf field under the lights. They begin playing games all over the willamette Valley beginning in April. But until then he loves to compete in church basketball where his team is on a winning streak that they hope to keep alive. Here are a few pictures...

And lastly, the newest thing was our 5k race that we ran this past weekend. It was way awesome. I had never ran in a race before and was really nervous for it not only because I am certainly NOT a runner, but also because I have been fighting a cold. But it went great! And Kyle, wow! He did awesome! Such a good runner...this is right up his alley!! Im so proud! Who knows maybe a marathon is in the future......very distant future i assure you!!
